My Story

I experienced a troubled childhood and as a young man chose drug addiction and the thug life. My decision led me down a dark path and ultimately to three stints in prison twice in the UK and once in the USA.

After hitting rock bottom I made a difficult decision to relocate and turn my life around. Since getting clean over 15 years ago I have dedicated myself to sharing my life lessons with others. My story is one of resilience, human spirit, and self-empowerment.

I am now an experienced mentor, EDI trainer, and budding author. I regularly appear on the local news and radio and was featured on BBC’s Inside Out.

In 2020 I was named winner of the Football Blacklist Award for my work in grassroots and in the community with Pompey In The Community affiliated to Portsmouth Football Club, voted by the Premier League, and recently awarded the EDI heroes award by Hampshire FA.
